The Andromeda Observatory

Discover the night sky in your personal rotating observatory

A new and unique concept in astronomical observation

Our rotating observatory is perfect whether you are an amateur

astronomer or a society - designed for any age and any ability and can be

used all through the year. It can be used for searching the skies for

personal viewing or for taking images of the night sky. It provides an

excellent viewing platform.

The building is 2.04m as standard (larger standard size and custom sizes

are available). As the floor remains stationary, the building walls and

roof manually rotate using handles inside the observatory on a tracking system. Two hatches form the viewing window, meaning the astronomer and their equipment will be protected from the weather.

Delivered nationwide, the building comes complete with a 15 year

anti-rot guarantee and 12 month guarantee against faults. Supplied in a

range of colours to compliment your surroundings, we also offer

additional features such as shelving, matting, lighting and a sky chart board etc.

Available soon:

Sliding roof observatories;

Observatories with or without a warm room.

Why rotating?

A rotating observatory means that when your telescope is setup, you

only need to turn the observatory to view the sky in seconds.

The Andromeda provides a secure environment for viewing and

imaging the night sky, offering a full 360 degree rotation. The

viewing is made available by removing either one/ two (or both)

hatches, providing between 0 and 71 degree angle

(dependant upon tripod/ pedestal/ telescope).

It’s so easy to turn, even a child could rotate the building.
